Shock absorber cheek pad fits all gunstocks including the adjustable comb-height modifications, without trimming to fit. Gunstocks of rifles and shotguns can use the pad to reduce recoil affects. Easy on your face and greatly reduces kick, quiets gun noise to your head and makes shooting more enjoyable. The material is a proven shock absorber in football helmets and the shooting sports. 1/16 inch thick raises the POI 2 inches at 40 yards. Adjust the comb downward for no change to POI. It is well known that comb height (cheek height) changes vertical position of your aiming eye (the rear sight) and controls how high your gun shoots; so, you can control the desired pattern of your shotgun.
